What do you do at Newsec?
I am one of three leaders of financial management in Norway, managing a unit of approximately 40 highly skilled employees.

What do you like the best about working at Newsec?
I like the dynamics, tempo and people. I am surrounded by specialists who have great knowledge of real estate and I learn something new every day. There is a constant flow of new issues related to either tax, VAT or accounting that makes sure we never get bored. Also, we work with a large spectrum of clients – both domestic and abroad, that gives us other perspectives and constantly challenge us to move forward and be best in class.

What attracted you to Newsec?
I was recommended by a client and once I learned about Newsec, I was eager to start, already having decided that real estate was the industry that I wanted to work with.

Have you had other roles at Newsec?
In my 14 years in Newsec, I feel that my job has changed several times. Even though I have only had two roles; team leader and department leader, the content of the job has changed several times. The framework around us, the market and not least the clients, drive us in different directions and with our vision as being the preferred property asset manager, Newsec must always be some steps ahead of the development and ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
